Neal Glassett grew up in the Chicago suburbs and then spent his early career as an accountant moving between Texas, California, Indiana, and Illinois. He has spent most of the past 12 years in the Peoria, IL area, with a three-year stint living overseas in Germany. Neal graduated from the University of North Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has spent most of his 20-year career in the manufacturing segment.
After starting his journey toward becoming a licensed pilot in 2003, life got in the way and Neal couldn’t finish his training until 2016. Since then, Neal has amassed over 750 hours of flying, despite not flying much during the three years in Germany. He recently acquired a 1975 Piper Seneca and flies as far as time will allow him. Neal has now landed an airplane in over 30 different states in the US. He not only flies for LifeLine Pilots but also flies for Pilots N Paws, which offers rescue flights for dogs, cats, and other animals.
Neal has been married for more than 25 years to his beloved wife Tina and has two teenage children. Outside of his aviation interests, he is also a musician and former member of the cello section in the Knox-Galesburg Symphony. Neal also enjoys family history research and visiting the places his ancestors used to live.
