Board Chair
Bryon Griffin brings a wealth of expertise to our Board, with a career that spans technology innovation, strategic leadership, and entrepreneurial ventures. With a foundation in designing secure CCTV and card access systems for nuclear facilities and architecting robust networking platforms for Fortune 500 companies, Bryon has established himself as a versatile and forward-thinking leader. His extensive work across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Australia has focused on deploying collaborative software solutions that enhance organizational connectivity.
Bryon’s corporate tenure includes his role as a director at Novell, where he led both consulting and sales initiatives across the Americas until the 2009 technology downturn. Following this, he embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, acquiring a Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees and Smoothies franchise, and later transitioned into IT managed services as VP of Operations for a Central Illinois firm. Bryon has also led operational advancements for ADM’s Decatur, IL, facility, improving safety, quality operations, and streamlining colleague information management through Microsoft Power Platform projects.
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Bryon earned his Bachelor of Science from DeVry University and an MBA from Benedictine University. He lives in East Peoria, IL, with his wife Vickie, and together they have four adult children and three grandchildren. Outside of work, Bryon enjoys SCUBA diving and exploring the world of automobiles and has a keen interest in rotary aircraft. His diverse background and commitment to excellence make him a valuable asset to our Board and community.
