Bob earned his certificate in 2017. He has been flying for Lifeline Pilots since 2023. He flies a Piper ComancheBob is an experienced volunteer, having flown more than 30 flights for LifeLine Pilots. Bob was awarded the LifeLine Pilots’ Hangar of Honor in 2024. Bob can be counted on taking long flights or ones at the last minute. He continues his service by offering his experience and passion to fellow pilots.

Home Airport: KDPA (DuPage, IL)

Jerry has been flying for LifeLine Pilots since 2024. He holds an ATP certificate as well as CFII, AGI, and IGI certificates.  He has been named a Master Ground Instructor four consecutive times by the National Association of Flight Instructors. 

Jerry has been flying for over 59 years.  During that time, he has amassed about 8,000 hours in a wide variety of general aviation aircraft. He has personally flown a GA aircraft on all 7 continents. Currently Jerry has over 4,000 hours on his Cirrus SR22, which he purchased new. 

Jerry is a former Board Member of the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association and served five years as the Dean of the College of Flight Operations of COPA University - the training and education arm of that organization. He regularly teaches at Cirrus Pilot Proficiency Programs where he presents classes on aviation weather, preflight briefings, instrument procedures, regulations, and aeronautical decision making.  From 2020 to 2023 he was the President of the Board of Trustees of the COPA Safety and Education Foundation. 

Nine years ago, he was honored to receive the FAA’s Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award for 50 years of safe flying. 

In a previous life Seckler was a urologic surgeon as well as an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner.
