Crystal Garrett

Board Member

Crystal Garrett works for Caterpillar’s Earthmoving Division as a Cost and Strategy Manager for Medium Wheel Loaders.   Crystal has been an employee of Caterpillar for 15 years where she has had a wide variety of opportunities in various divisions.  Aside from tackling complex challenges with committed team members, Crystal loves working at Caterpillar as it allows her opportunities to pursue another passion: traveling the world.

Crystal was born and raised in Fargo, ND.  She received a Mechanical Engineering degree from North Dakota State University in 2006 and an MBA from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2020.  Crystal was named a Top 40 under 40 leader in Peoria in 2017.

Crystal has always had a strong passion for volunteering.  She’s served on non-profit boards including Family House and Common Place, as well as on committees for the Heart of Illinois United Way, HOIUW’s Generation United and Community Foundation’s Emerging Philanthropists.  Outside work and volunteering, Crystal loves spending time with her husband, Sean, and dog, Wallace, and challenging herself rock climbing, mountain biking, or snowboarding.
